Rajasthani Wedding: Three Days of Pheras, Sangeet & Baraat

Be family for three days at a Marwari wedding in Udaipur — dance the baraat, sit at the mandap, and eat off banana leaves with 180 relatives.

This is not a wedding show. Our family opens the doorway to three days of ritual, color, and joy. Day 1 — Mehndi & Sangeet: henna artists dress your palms while the aunties teach you the dance we have been rehearsing for months. Live dhol, thali dinner in the courtyard. Day 2 — Haldi & Baraat: turmeric ceremony at dawn, then the groom's procession on a white horse through the old city. You walk in it. Day 3 — Pheras & Vidaai: the seven vows at the sacred fire, followed by the emotional farewell. A Rajasthani thali feast closes the night. We host 3 traveler seats among ~180 family and friends. A family liaison stays with you the whole time, translates every ritual, and answers every question — no question is silly.
